Understanding the Application

The AI H5P Generator is a powerful tool that helps educators create interactive H5P learning activities quickly. It uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on your lesson materials or general themes.

How Content Generation Works

The application creates interactive activities based on your content:

  1. Select the type of activity you want to create
  2. Upload a file containing a lesson.
  3. You can add extra instructions to guide the AI in the specified area.
  4. Choose the output language.
  5. The AI analyzes your content and generates relevant activities
  6. You can customize the generated content before exporting

Tip: You can upload specific files (TXT, ODT, DOCX) containing a lesson or a general theme like "sport and health" or "daily expressions to learn present continuous". The AI will generate appropriate content for the selected activity type.

Credit System

Each content generation costs 1 credit. Complex activities may require more detailed input, but the cost remains the same per generation.

Check your remaining credits in the Account Credits section before generating content.

Creating True/False Quizzes

Selecting Activity Type

To generate a True/False quiz:

  1. Select "True/False Quiz" as the activity type
  2. Upload a file containing a lesson.
  3. You can add extra instructions to guide the AI in the specified area.
  4. Set your preferred output language

Configure your quiz settings:

  • Number of Questions: Set how many true/false statements to generate
  • Pass Percentage: Minimum score needed to pass (default: 50%)
  • Progress Type: Choose how progress is displayed (dots is default)
  • Behavior Settings:
    • Show Intro Page: Display an introduction before the quiz
    • Disable Backwards Navigation: Prevent going back to previous questions
    • Random Questions: Shuffle the order of questions
    • Enable Retry: Allow learners to retry the activity

After generating questions, review and edit them:

  • Question Text: The true/false statement
  • Correct Answer: Whether the statement is True or False
  • Feedback: Messages for correct and incorrect answers

Generating and Exporting

Click "Generate Questions" to create your quiz (costs 1 credit), then "Export H5P" to download the H5P package.

Creating Crossword Puzzles

To generate a crossword puzzle:

  1. Select "Crossword Puzzle" as the activity type
  2. Upload a file containing a lesson.

Creating Dialog Cards

Selecting Activity Type

Dialog cards are ideal for vocabulary practice or Q&A drills:

  1. Select "Dialog Cards" as the activity type
  2. Upload a file containing a lesson.
  3. You can add extra instructions to guide the AI in the specified area.
  4. Set your preferred output language

Creating Drag the Words Activities

Account Setup and Authentication

Creating an Account

To create a new account:

  1. Click on the "Sign Up" tab in the authentication portal
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Create a secure password that meets the requirements:
    • Minimum 8 characters
    • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
    • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
    • At least one number (0-9)
    • At least one special character (@#$%^&^)
  4. Confirm your password
  5. Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  6. Click "Create Account"
  7. Verify your Email

Logging In

To access your account:

  1. Navigate to the Login tab
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Optionally check "Remember me" for faster future logins
  5. Click "Login"

Password Recovery

If you forget your password:

  1. Click on "Forgot Password?" on the login screen
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Click "Send Recovery Email"
  4. Check your email for a secure link to reset your password
  5. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password

Security Note: All communications are encrypted and monitored for security. Never share your password with anyone.

Managing Your Account

Credit System

Each content generation costs 1 credit. The AI H5P Generator uses a simple credit-based system:

  • Check your remaining credits in the Account Credits section
  • Credits can be purchased if you run out
  • Click "Refresh" to update your credit balance

Purchasing Credits

To purchase additional credits:

  1. Click the Purchase Button in the Account Credits section
  2. You will be redirected to the purchase webpage
  3. Select a credit package that suits your needs
  4. Complete the payment process
  5. Click the Refresh Button
  6. Credits will be added to your account immediately

Supported File Types

You can upload the following file types as source material:

Alternatively, you can simply provide a file containing a general theme or topic for the AI to generate appropriate content.

Using H5P Content

After exporting your H5P content:

  • Moodle: Use the H5P activity type to upload your .h5p file
  • WordPress: Install the H5P plugin and upload your content
  • Other LMS: Check your platform's documentation for H5P support

Note: Make sure you have sufficient credits before attempting to generate content. The generation process will not start if you have insufficient credits.
